I joined the department in October 1995 after a short time working in the Registry division of the University. Prior to this I spent 12 months in an administrative position with ParaFed NZ.
My job is to handle the day to day administration requirements of the department. I also handle general student enquiries and offer assistance to staff members where possible.
Before returning to work full time I was very involved in tennis, especially midweek. However these days I find trying to keep up with all the goings-on of a growing teenage family and working fulltime in an administrative position has led me to look to new ways of trying to keep fit. I am now an enthusiastic member of the University Rec. Centre where I try to attend at least 3 aerobics classes a week .
