Installation instructions.

There are two versions of Flexi, One for Pentiums and Pentium Pro PCs and one for 486 PCs.
Although both will run on either machine type they have been optimised for the type specified.
Only the 486 version will run on soft windows on a MacIntosh Power PC.

Download the files of the appropriate version to a directory on your PC.
Start up a DOS command box.
Change the default directory to the directory where the files are,
   by first entering the drive letter followed by a colon,
   then entering the CD command followed by the directory name.
   eg 
     C:
     CD \flexi
Type install to run the installation program


To obtain a copy of the manual

Download the file manual.exe and run it.
This will create a postcript version of the manual in a file manual.prn.
Print it on a postscript printer by
Assigning a DOS printer number to the printer
 In windows95 this is done 
   by going to Start\Settings\Printers.
   Then right click on your chosen printer
   Choose the properties option.
   Go to the Details tab and click on the Capture Printer Port button.
   Choose an approriate channel number. eg 1 (used in the example below).
   Check the Reconnect at logon box.
     Flexi can produce postscript printer files which are sent to the printer
     in the same way.
